Nodier EMAG is part of the German group EMAG, founded in 1867 in the town of Bautzen in Saxony (Eastern Germany). Initially specializing in activities related to iron foundry and machining, EMAG group has then moved to the manufacturing of lathes and special machines since 1952. In 1969, the group left its former site in Bautzen and moved to Salach, town of Baden-Württemberg (South Germany). The new site in Salach is ever since the headquarters of the EMAG Group. The following year it started the collaboration with Nodier in France. The group thus created, Nodier EMAG is responsible for representing the EMAG Group on the French and Spanish markets. In France, the Nodier EMAG premises are located in Bailly in the Yvelines. By early 2006, the German company changed its name; EMAG MaschinenfabrikGmbH into EMAG GmbH, which now controls the entire EMAG group. At the end of 2006, it generated a turnover of € 406 million. Endeavoring to provide appropriate solutions to the real needs of its customers, Nodier EMAG has the know-how, the experience and specific knowledge related to the design and manufacturing of machine tools dedicated to turning, grinding, centering, and dressing. The Nodier EMAG machine tools are CNC vertical lathe, turn-mill center, turret lathe, multiple tools production lathe, oval lathe, front lathe, air lathe, centering and dressing machine, machining center, cylindrical grinding machine, laser welding machine. The Nodier EMAG second-hand machines that go through RDMO workshops are carefully checked to offer a quality level close to the new.
