Rollomatic
A Swiss company of international renown, Rollomatic was founded in 1953 in La Neuveville by Francis Rollier. The company called Rollier SA was specialized in the manufacturing of cutting tools (tungsten carbide drills and tools) for the regional clock industry. The company subsequently redirected part of its activities to the design of grinding machines. In 1976 Rollomatic unveiled its first model of manual grinding center created for internal use. The brand has rapidly expanded the number of its clients, which spread first throughout the country, before conquering foreign markets and becoming one of the leading manufacturers in this sector. The CNC grinding machines designed by Rollomatic are used in factories worldwide. The first major exports of machine tools signed Rollomatic were made in the 1980s, especially in the United States and Japan. The quality and reliability of the products of the Swiss brand are now relieved in Germany, Great Britain, Japan, China, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, South Korea, Turkey, and the United States through a global network of subsidiaries the company has built over its evolution. The headquarters of the group gathers 180 employees in different services, ranging from software engineering to machines assembly, through research & development, marketing, and aid-support. Rollomatic machines are subject to various tests at various stages of their production, design, and assembly in order to meet the standards of the highest quality. It is this same attention to detail and accuracy that drives RDMO teams when checking Rollomatic second-hand machines, as well as equipments from other manufacturers. Rollomatic grinding machines are real references in the manufacturing of small diameter tools. They are among the solutions proposed by Rollomatic along with design software of cutting tools, measuring systems, and grinding wheels dressing systems.
